After a 3 year break (due to Covid) we thankfully got back together in Meung in early June 2022. Our hosts provided a full program, We didn't have a minute to spare. A really enjoyable visit.

AROUND 70 people from Lymm visited its twin-town in France to celebrate 50 years of partnership.
During the visit, a plaque commemorating the event was unveiled in “Square de Lymm” and an art exhibition was held which included the work of 16 Lymm artists.

A visit we won't forget. Meung was flooded, the reception and visit were cancelled and the final meal was re-located to a nearby village hall. 

The trip to the Solonge included a display about the Americans stationed there in WW1, the Mantra Automobile Museum, lunch at a hotel, a trip to a Chateaux and a Chocolate factory. Entertainment was provided at the reception by "Bat-Clav".

The trip was to the "Chateau de Guedelon" in Burgandy.  The entertainment at the reception was a French line dance Group.

In 2010 we were welcomed at the Hotel de Ville. On the trip we were taken to the vineyeards of Montlouis, where we tasted the local Touraine wine. Afterwards we had lunch in restaurant situated in a natural cave and finally a train ride round a "parc animalier". The music at the reception was provided by  "Les Baladins de L'Arc en Ciel".

AROUND 50 people from Meung-sur-Loire came to Lymm this year. Whilst they were here they were treated to an evening at Arley Hall, a trip to Ironbridge and a meal at the Hallmark Hotel in Grappenhall. The pictures are mainly of these events but they do show a flavour of the other things our visitors did whilst they were here.

The welcome meeting was at Lymm Hall. The trip went to Chester and included the cathedral and a boat/bus tour. The evening reception was at staham Lodge.

The welcome meeting was at Walton Hall. the trip was to Blackpool and included, The Winter Gardens, Lunch at Harry ramsden's, Blackpool Tower and a visit to a factory to see Blackpool Rock being made. The final reception was at Statham Lodge in Lymm.

The welcome was at Warrington Town Hall. The trip was to Ullswater for a trip on the lake. Afterwards we went to rheged for lunch. The evening reception was at Mere Golf Club.

In 2009 60 people visited Lymm from Meung-Sur-Loire. The welcome meeting was at Lymm Parish Hall. the trip was to Liverpool and Ness gardens. The dinner dance was at Mere Golf Club.
